About the Author: Born and raised in a picturesque Yorkshire valley, Sam Taplin always wanted to be a writer. After three years at university reading other people’s novels, he began writing his own for Usborne. Since then, he has continued to do it. He enjoys writing songs, playing lengthy games of chess by the fire, and performing card tricks when he’s not writing about lonely bunnies or curious bears.
